Get to know WhaleEye in five minutes.
WhaleEye

See the money before the market does.

1. What is WhaleEye?

A behaviour-intent engine. We watch a curated set of "smart money" wallets (high-PnL traders, VCs, exchange flows) and emit clean Buy / Sell / Hold signals instead of raw transaction streams. Every signal is tagged with a confidence score.

2. Demo mode vs. Live mode

WhaleEye boots in DEMO mode (synthetic signals every 6 s) when no Solana RPC key is configured β€” every public RPC rate-limits anonymous indexing. To flip to LIVE, set WHALEEYE_SOLANA_RPC to a Helius or QuickNode URL and restart. The top-right badge shows the current mode.

3. The four surfaces

4. Signing in

Click "Connect wallet" top-right. MetaMask / Rabby / OKX-EVM all work. We use SIWE: the signature does not authorise any transaction; it only proves you control the address.

5. Admin console

Operators only. Visit /admin directly. The console exposes poller status, top wallets, error logs with refIds, and can clear the store / force demo mode.

6. Where does the smart-money list come from?

V2 ships with 20 hand-curated wallets and a discovery layer. Discovery sources documented in lib/discovery β€” including a public Hyperliquid leaderboard fetcher. Admins can run discovery on demand to merge new high-PnL addresses into the pool.

7. FAQ

  • Are alerts ever wrong?
Every alert has a confidence score. β‰₯ 80% has historically been highest-quality. We always recommend combining multiple signals before trading.
  • Is my watchlist private?
Yes. Watchlists are scoped to your SIWE session and never shared.
  • How is WhaleEye different from Nansen / Whale Alert?
Nansen tells you what happened (data explorer). Whale Alert pings every large transfer. WhaleEye tells you what it means β€” accumulation / distribution / rotation β€” with a single confidence number.
